Development first line managers and team leaders

    Development of first line managers and team leaders is effective if several conditions are fulfilled:

     

    • usually we are working in cooperation with middle management and operators / workers; without having their support, the development of first line managers and team leaders can be very difficult and often fails; 
    • operators and workers undergo an information workshop to prepare them for the changed behavior and leadership style of their manager;
    • middle management takes the role of coaches and mentors for first line managers and team leaders. They can get short 'Coaching the GAP' and mentoring training.
